We lost our 14 year old Buster Brown on Jan. 30 th of this year. We are new in the Newton IA community. We had been taking Buster and his 15 year old mom Nala since June. Nala had 10 teeth removed and Buster had been treated for CHF. They have been always courteous and kind. Two weeks after our Buster passed I recieved a bereavement card from them. I was taken back. It's going on two months since Buster's passing and we have decided to get a Puppy for Nala and us to brighten up our home. Took my dog Aspen here because she was acting really lethargic, not eating, and vomiting. They did an amazing job at keeping me updated and doing everything they could to find out what was going on. I hadn't ever been there until yesterday. My 14 year old cat had been dealing with Pancreatist for a month. Yesterday I knew it was time to let him go. My normal vet was out of town. I live in Knoxville and both vet clinics here said they were booked up until the end of next week. I called Newton and explained the situation. They were very understanding and set up an appointment for us. I'm sorry I didn't get the vet and the vet tech's names. I know they told me but I wasn't doing well myself. They were both so compassionate and caring. I feel like it was meant for me to take him to that clinic. Those 2 ladies were awesome.

Most recently were wanted to adopt a Beagle. We found one but she had heart worms. The Clinic reviewed documents from the adoption facility in Minneapolis and felt there may not be a lot of damage to her heart. We adopted Allie and the Clinic performed their own tests and felt little damage had been done so she underwent treatment to correct the problem. It's been two and a half years and we now have a healthy and SPOILED ROTTEN Beagle thanks to the Newton Clinic.

I was worried my dog had mites because he started itched and biting at his paws. We give our pets their flea and ear mite prevention regularly so I did not understand what was causing him to itch like that. We took him to the Newton Animal Clinic and were surprised to find out he had allergies and the do's and don'ts to help him feel better. Thanks so much to the doctors and staff.

I cannot say enough great things about the staff at Newton Animal Clinic. I have been taking my dogs there since my parents got me my first puppy when I was 7 or 8. The staff have always taken amazing care of my fur babies and you can tell they truly care about you and your pets. I would never consider going somewhere else.

I would highly recommend the newton animal clinic to any pet owner! Our sweet rottie, aria, was diagnosis with parvo at 8 weeks. Everyone from the front office assistant to vet tech to the veterinarians themselves were absolutely amazing. They were very good at explaining all of our options and keeping us informed during her long week stay there when we weren’t sure if we would ever get to bring her home. Once she was able to come home, they call us to check up on her and make sure she was thriving at home. We couldn’t be more thankful for their amazing care and compassion during a very difficult time. Thank you for saving our girl, our lives would be the same without her! ❤️
